At the RL Mace Universal Design Institute (UDI), our mission is to lead the way in making environments and products easier and safer to use. Named after Ron Mace, who pioneered the concept of universal design, our nonprofit organization is dedicated to creating inclusive spaces that meet the needs of everyone, regardless of age, ability, or circumstance. For 15 years, UDI has been at the forefront of the universal design movement.
