These services include palliative care, hospice, nutrition, physical therapy support, home health, insurance and financial assistance. RNCG supports and facilities the physician/ patient relationship. RNCG nurses attend physician appointments and summarizes the information for other medical team members and the patient. RNCG nurses also coordinate cancer care for patients that are seasonal residents and need assistance in continuing their out of state cancer treatments. This nursing navigation service provides the patient and their families with clear information in order to make well informed decisions as well as better patient outcomes.
