Since 1965, Roland has been the world leader in the production of side curtains and graphics. The company began its operations in The Netherlands, serving all of Western Europe. As the U.S. market learned about the efficiencies of side access equipment, Roland’s U.S. operation was opened in 1997 in order to better serve the growing demand for its products domestically. Product use here quickly expanded into large and small fleets carrying such products as lumber, building products, paper products, steel, automobiles, glass and much more. Today, as the needs of the trucking industry continue to evolve, Roland has grown and expanded by creating two divisions to better sever the market. Curtainside Division includes sales and production of side curtains, graphics, decals and hardware for both new and used equipment. Upper Structure Division includes sales and production of curtainside and roll-top equipment including straight trailers, dropdeck trailers and truck bodies.
