Romulus Capital operates in the venture capital and private equity sector, concentrating on early-stage technology firms that aim to become industry leaders. The firm seeks out founders who are often first-time entrepreneurs connected to universities and incubators, and it supports growth as companies expand. It emphasizes a hands-on, partnership-based approach throughout the business’s trajectory, prioritizing the people involved and the market opportunities they pursue.

Based in Boston, Massachusetts, Romulus Capital is described as youthful, entrepreneurial, and globally connected through its investor base. It presents itself as a builder-focused firm that couples long-term development with the realities of modern entrepreneurship, rather than pursuing short-term bets. In 2020, Romulus Growth partnered with Bighelping to provide guidance to tenants on COVID-19 safety, illustrating an engagement beyond core investment activities.
