Opening its doors in 1963, Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is one of 58 colleges in the state-supported N.C. Community College System. Rowan-Cabarrus offers fully accredited associate degree programs in more than 50 areas of study, including business, information technology, health and public services, engineering and biotechnology. Rowan-Cabarrus offers numerous degrees entirely online, as well as accredited diploma and certificate programs focused on career training, continuing education and basic skills education. The college provides transferable credits for students advancing to 4-year colleges and helps adults get additional training to start or change careers.
