Runnion Equipment Company, based in Hodgkins, Illinois, was founded in 1975 by Earle and Dorothy Runnion to supply and service truck-mounted cranes, equipment trailers, and bucket trucks for customers in Northern Illinois, Northwest Indiana, and Southeast Wisconsin. The firm maintains a national presence through regular equipment trades across North America and, occasionally, overseas, with a core focus on truck-mounted cranes and a longstanding emphasis on National Crane, a leading U.S. manufacturer. The company represents Palfinger and Manitex cranes, as well as Palfinger-Epsilon Loaders and Dur-A-Lift bucket trucks. It offers crane repair and rebuilding, teardown work, Hy-Rail gear repair, OSHA inspections, safety instruction, and a rental program with options from daily to monthly, including buy provisions. Its workforce comprises union technicians who are factory trained and CDL licensed; in 2023, Regnier joined the sales team as part of ongoing growth.
