Founded in 2005, Ruth's Way, Inc. is a faith-based, nonprofit organization, and the only existing Achievement Consulting Agency for Adolescent Girls in the world!  We help female youth ages 10-17 to achieve their most successful futures possible, despite their past or current situation.  We help all girls to strategically plan for and achieve their most successful futures possible by showing them how to identify and then properly address barriers that threaten their successful futures so that they will be properly equipped to conquer future adversities as successful women.  Ruth’s Way also specializes in the behavioral health issues of young ladies who have experienced some sort of trauma in their lives and are displaying negative behaviors as a result.  All our programs and services are carried out from a strengths-based perspective which supports our young ladies and their families being in control of their own processes and outcomes. 

We provide our services to approximately 100-200 adolescent female youth and their families per year, whom which are residing in the Pittsburgh and Southwestern Pennsylvania area communities.   

Under the umbrella of the Achievement Consultation Program, we have an array of curricula that we facilitate which focus on long-term benefits for our female youth to achieve successful futures as productive women which benefits the entire community.  We facilitate these curricula in the form of interactive conversations with our participants vs. talking at them, which we call “Forums”.  Our Forums include The Life Skills Just for Girls Forum, The Job Readiness and Employment Soft Skills Forum, The Junior Toastmasters Communication and Leadership Development Forum, and The Smart Money Management Financial Literacy Forum.  

Through the combined efforts of our Achievement Consultation Program and our Fabulous Forums, we have established an effective Social and Emotional Learning formula for female youth AND their families to achieve success
