Since our grand opening the center staff has grown to meet the needs of the community, 80% are Native American from both local and out-of –state Tribes. Our goal is to develop an experienced and capable Native American workforce comprised of experts in their chosen fields. The health center’s dedicated team of highly-trained clinicians offer a wide range of services, in multiple locations including: adult medicine, pediatrics, mental health services, laboratory services, comprehensive dental care for children and adults, substance abuse services, wellness programs, nutrition and diabetes care. Our center plays a major role in the Sacramento area, where changes to Medi-Cal benefits and the managed care environment have resulted in significant portions of the population left with little or no access to mainstream health care. We are rooted in and responsive to our local community: We share a common sense of mission and purpose, and we have proven resilient in the face of challenges and change. Beyond providing health care, our goal is to contribute to the development and empowerment of all members of the Sacramento community.
