We provide safety, space to heal, advocacy, and empowerment to women and children and all survivors of domestic violence.

Safe Haven Shelter and Resource Center in Duluth, Minnesota provides services to those who have been affected by physical, emotional, or sexual abuse. Some people who use our services are in physical danger. Others are living with controlling partners in relationships that are emotionally abusive.

We provide an array of services including 24-hour crisis phone line, individual advocacy, legal advocacy, information and referrals, self-sufficiency services (like assistance with housing, employment, education, and childcare), support groups, youth support, and community education. In addition to our emergency shelter, we recently opened the Resource Center, an “off-the-street” service that serves as the headquarters of our legal advocacy and self-sufficiency programs.
