The SafetyLit Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation that is the administrative home for all SafetyLit services.

SafetyLit (short for "Safety Literature") is a bibliographic database and weekly online update of recently published scholarly research of relevance to those interested in the preventing accidents, interpersonal violence, and self-harm. SafetyLit draws its contents from more than 13,000 professional journals, technical reports from agencies and organizations, and doctoral theses. More than 30 distinct professional disciplines contribute knowledge to the better understanding of injury prevention. SafetyLit selects relevant material from all of these sources -- currently drawing from 143 of the world's nations. All SafetyLit services are presented at no cost and without advertising.
