We believe in the power of storytelling, of giving our customers more than just a taste of a Dosa or Kebab– we want to transport you to India, show you the vibrancy of a culture that shaped our childhoods and ancestries. We do it in small ways, the way we design our spaces or create our menus, but we go even further. Sometimes stories need more than just one vehicle, and we use our design, social media, and website to take these stories and bring them to life. Saffron Canteen: Indian Comfort Food Our first location with a focus on Indian street food from north, south east and west of India. We offer classics like chaat, dosas, Indochinese, kebabs and more! We offer a daily lunch buffet in a casual setting. Every Tuesday we offer Tiffin Tuesday, India’s answer to brunch or light supper. Sundays feature a regional buffet with choices from each of the culinary centers of India. Saffron Colonial: Classic Indian Cuisine A British Colonial style restaurant in the heart of the city. We offer a lunch buffet made with the freshest locally sourced ingredients. Daily specials include favorites like Chicken Tikka Masala, Coconut Korma, Vindaloo and rotating classic dishes. Dinner is cooked to order and served family style with choices that range from traditional, classic, modern and sweet offerings. Saffron Bistro: Modern Indian Kitchen Our newest location featuring part restaurant, part market and part chai house. The menu includes a mix of authentic Indian favorites and classics with a modern twist. For lunch we offer Thali platters which include a delicious sampling of Indian breads and variety of dishes on a round platter which is a feast to the eyes and the palate. We offer chai, lassis and cakes and pastries and a comfortable place to sit and hang out in the cafe area. Our market has spices, chutneys, preserves, pickles and other ingredients for cooking and baking Indian food at home.
