The Saginaw Children's Zoo is a regional environmental services organization based in Saginaw, Michigan, occupying more than 10 acres of tree-filled parkland that hosts animal exhibits, colorful gardens, a miniature train, and the region's only hand-carved carousel. The facility provides educational and recreational opportunities for families and local visitors through its exhibits and planned events.
It operates with a small staff and engages with the community through partnerships and programs. In May 2025, the zoo participated in Jack Pine Planting Day in Grayling, collaborating with MUCC's On the Ground program, the Kirtland's Warbler Alliance, Huron Pines, and the Michigan DNR. In April 2024, it supported an environmental initiative by partnering with the City of Saginaw on a foam recycling event. These activities illustrate the organization's role within the environmental services sector as a community-focused venue that combines wildlife exhibits with conservation education and public programming in Michigan.
