Sailrite is a family-owned retailer based in Columbia City, Indiana, operating into its second generation. The company maintains a broad catalog that includes canvas supplies, fabrics, tools, kits, and instructional videos, along with the Sailrite Ultrafeed LSZ-1 sewing machine. Its products serve sailors, boaters, and do-it-yourself enthusiasts around the world, combining materials with guidance through DIY kits and a sail loft. Founded in 1969, its aim was to provide both instruction and materials for amateur sailmakers, addressing a niche that had not been served before. Today, Sailrite continues to expand across industrial sewing machines, marine and furniture fabrics, hardware and tools, and sailing apparel, while remaining a family-run business focused on service and resources for its global customer base. In 2021, Vinson of Antarctica acquired Sailrite Enterprises Inc.
