Saint John XXIII was founded in 1967 as a Catholic Parish to take on the role of University Ministry. Saint John XXIII has a vibrant Campus Ministry program called Ram Catholic, a new alumni program for CSU graduates, and many other programs for youth and adults of all ages. Saint John XXIII strives to provide formation through programs designed to encompass worship, service, education, and fellowship. Whom We Serve Saint John XXIII is dedicated to serving the community whether you are a lifelong Catholic or searching for a home in the Catholic Church. Saint John XXIII focuses on the campus community with the majority of its efforts geared toward the students. However, Saint John XXIII is also home to CSU faculty and staff, CSU alumni, families, and other individuals who find themselves attracted to a University oriented mission. Key Programs • Ram Catholic Campus Ministry -Worship: Daily and Sunday Masses, Perpetual Adoration, Holy Sacraments and more. -Service: Serving food at the local mission, teaching religious education, mission trips around the world and more. -Education: FOCUS Bible Studies and The Aggiornamento Institute including Catholic courses, a speaker series, and vocation mentoring. -Fellowship: Sunday Night Supper, BBQ’s, Parties, Tailgates, and much more. • Want to become a Catholic? -Saint John XXIII provides weekly classes each year for non-Catholics wanting to learn more about the faith and become Catholic. • Religious Education and Youth Ministry -Saint John XXIII provides kids with an opportunity to learn and grow in their faith, create friendships, and serve the community. • Adult Ministry -Ram Catholic ALUMNI program provides a community and network of Catholic CSU alumni and aids in continued spiritual growth through prayer, knowledge, generosity, and evangelization. -Education and fellowship opportunities are offered through adult Bible studies, inquiry nights, evenings of recollection and more.
