The Saint Paul Downtown Alliance is a new, small organization based in St. Paul, Minnesota, operating in the public policy space to support downtown interests. It represents a coalition of downtown businesses, nonprofits, government entities, residents, and entrepreneurs with the aim of fostering a strong, vibrant downtown and a positive downtown experience. The Alliance emerged from a year-long, community-driven process led by the Saint Paul Riverfront Corporation that brought together government agencies, businesses, residents, and other stakeholders to envision the future of downtown Saint Paul. A concrete development in its activities is a partnership with Visit Saint Paul announced on November 15, 2023 to promote holiday programming in downtown Saint Paul. Based in St. Paul, the Alliance operates at a local level, coordinating input from multiple downtown stakeholders to shape policy and programs for the district.
