The Rancho Santa Margarita Landscape and Recreation Corporation (SAMLARC) is the largest master homeowners association within the city of Rancho Santa Margarita. The specific and primary purpose of SAMLARC is to provide community services and facilities for the benefit of homeowners within the community and preserve the value, desirability, and attractiveness of all properties within SAMLARC. SAMLARC’s mission is to perpetuate a positive, reputable and distinct identity for the SAMLARC community while maintaining a reasonable assessment fee. Founded in 1986, SAMLARC is one of the largest master homeowners association in California, representing 13,645 units, 13 community parks, 4 pools, the Beach Club Lagoon, and the Lago Santa Margarita. In addition, SAMLARC hosts a number of exciting community events each season including Wine & Cheese, the 4th of July Star Spangled Spectacular, the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration and more! SAMLARC contracts for all professional services pertaining to its facilities and events. SAMLARC is governed by a seven member Board of Directors, with staggered two year terms and elected by its Members.
