Samson Distribution LLC operates in the music and professional audio sector, offering equipment for both consumer and professional users under the Samson Audio, Samson Wireless, and Hartke brands. The company began in 1980 with wireless microphone systems and has since expanded to power amplifiers, mixers, wired microphones, and signal processors, including the early USB studio microphones introduced in 2005. Hartke entered the market in 1985 with an aluminum cone driver and now provides a full line of bass amplifiers and related gear used by professional musicians.

Based in Hicksville, New York, the group operates as a mid-sized enterprise with a global footprint in more than 140 countries and a portfolio of more than 300 products. Over more than three decades, it has evolved from a two-person operation to a worldwide supplier of audio gear for music and broadcasting professionals.
