The SDCFCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the continuing improvement, education and promotion of the floor covering industry. It’s members include wholesale sales people, floor covering dealers, installing contractors, retail sales people and those who transport floor covering products and related products of the industry Dinner meetings provide our members the opportunity to exchange information regarding new products and techniques of installation, to hear prominent speakers within the industry in a question and answer format, to attend educational seminars on such topics as dealer/installer contract operations, or often to enjoy the musings of local prominent personalities which widen our perspective of the ever expanding and versatile community of San Diego Our continuing self-education of the latest products and techniques available in the marketplace ultimately benefits the public by offering them the most highly qualified personnel in the county. The Association is host to Floor Excellence, a program devoted to promoting a partnership between all segments of the floor covering industry The main focus of Floor Excellence is EDUCATION and TRAINING, but it is utilized to introduce new products and acquire feedback as well. As a non-profit organization we support our local charities through such events as a Golf Tournament, 50/50 Raffles, Bowl-A-Thon, Floor Games, Day at the Races at Del Mar and Dinner Meetings. The recipients of these fund raising events is Children’s Hospital of San Diego and the SDCFCA Scholarship Fund Some of our Social Events include our Annual Holiday Party and the presentation of the Award for Excellence, Day at the Races, Golf, Alumni Dinner Meeting and Bowl-A-Thon.
