San Diego Golf Reservations (SDGR) is the largest concierge and golf reservation company in California. We have been booking tee times at Torrey Pines & 25 other local golf courses, including many private clubs that we cannot advertise since 1992. We are the local experts at getting golfers on Torrey Pines. We have booked more tee times at Torrey Pines than all other services combined. How It All Started It all started back in 1992, when the founder of SDGR, Rick MacDonald, could not get a tee time at Torrey Pines for himself and his Navy friends. At that time, you had to call Torrey Pines at exactly 5 a.m., a week ahead of time, to get a tee time and the tee times were all booked up in 15 minutes. He told his daughters that he would pay them $20 for a tee time if they would wake up at 5 a.m. and get him a foursome. Of course, they were persistent and ultimately successful. After a few weeks of this, his friends found out about it and started paying the girls for their services. MacDonald was quick to realize there was a business opportunity there and the rest is history. Over the Years Over the years, SDGR has acquired several other companies. In 2020, SDGR purchased Showtime Golf. Showtime Golf is the leading hotel concierge service and group/tournament operator in Southern California. Showtime Golf is the golf concierge resource for dozens of hotels in San Diego, and owns over 50 sets of golf rental clubs that it rents to local golf courses and tournaments. SDGR also owns and operates the San Diego Golf Trail . The Golf Trail is a unique bucket list of championship PGA golf courses in the San Diego area. You would be hard pressed to find a better set of golf courses to play on your golf trip - Torrey Pines South and North, Aviara, La Costa, and the Grand Golf Club.
