San Diego Repertory Theatre is a resident professional theatre based in downtown San Diego, California. It produces intimate, provocative, and inclusive theatre across three performance spaces and related art galleries, aiming to reflect the region's diverse voices and foster an interconnected community. As the resident and managing company of the Lyceum Theatre, it stages more than 550 events and performances each year.

Founded in 1976 by Sam Woodhouse and D.W. Jacobs, the company moved to the Lyceum in 1986 and has since hosted a range of mainstage works by Latino playwrights and artist residencies with notable creators. It has produced 50 world premieres and earned more than 200 awards for artistic excellence, including a 1998 Tony Award nomination for It Ain’t Nothin’ But the Blues and the 2005 Craig Noel Award for 30 Years of Artistic Dedication to Downtown and Diversity. In 2025, A Ritual for Robbie was chosen to perform at the While Megillah New Play Festival hosted by the theatre.
