San Diego Sabers LLC, a California Limited Liability Company is an Amateur Junior Hockey team engaged in a business of identifying, developing, training and promoting young hockey players to help to advance them to play college hockey.  Since 2001 the Sabers have been a part of the WSHL. Established in 1993, the Western States Hockey League (WSHL). In 2020, the San Diego Sabers joined the Pacific Division of the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL), which operates in 24 of the 50 United States. The league is currently the largest amateur ice hockey league in the United States. The USPHL has more than 600 teams with athletes in the USPHL Premier who are 16 to 21 years of age. Overall, the USPHL has had over 2,500 athletes advance to the collegiate level and NHL. In the 2022–23 regular season the Pacific Division at USPHL league will feature 8 teams competing within their division and participating at the Boston showcase  all playing a 44-game regular season schedule, which mimics what players would experience at the collegiate level. The team will play their home games at the Icetown Carlsbad Arena in Carlsbad, California.
