Dr Clement Qaqish is a rare and unique cosmetic surgeon in San Diego with dual degrees in oral maxillofacial and cosmetic surgery. One of the very few surgeons to have a DDS and MD designation. Having excelled with honors at the top of his class in dental and medical school he has demonstrated his commitment to excellence and continues to educate himself and others. In addition to his training in general and maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Qaqish did a full year fellowship in cosmetic surgery under the President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He performed 1,300 major cosmetic operative procedures, more than many plastic surgeons do over a five or ten year period. Additionally he has lectured as faculty at live surgery workshops, exclusive annual meeting panels, and authored numerous publications including journal articles and textbook chapters. He is currently serving as a board examiner for the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, a very distinguished honor.
