Our Mission: Getting more people on more bikes on the streets of San Francisco! SFYBP is a community bike shop that uses volunteer power to transform donated bicycles, parts, and other cycling resources into rideable bikes for charitable projects in the SF Bay area. SFYBP operates community bike shops, teaches bike mechanics and maintenance, and celebrates cycling. We use the following programs to get bikes into the community and onto the streets: • Kids' Bikes & Bike Swaps • Yellow Bikes • Ready-to-Ride Bikes • Earn-a-Bike • Education Outreach • Reused & Recycled Parts Volunteers who repair bikes at our shop get a free education in mechanics, and the community gets more rideable bikes on the streets of San Francisco.
