With a $5000 loan and a bold vision, Bob established Northland Properties Incorporated with the intention of building hotels and restaurants where people could come together to experience exceptional customer service.
 
Since opening our first hotel in Smithers, BC, in 1967, we have grown into a proud family-run business, now led by Bob’s son Tom. Today, you will find us across Canada–from St Johns to Vancouver–with over 60 hotels across Canada, the UK, Ireland, and the USA.
