Sanilac County Community Mental Health Authority is the county-level public mental health agency serving residents of Sanilac County, Michigan. It functions as the safety net for people affected by serious mental illness and developmental or intellectual disabilities who are eligible for Medicaid, Healthy Michigan Plan, and the Autism Benefit, as well as those who are uninsured. The agency provides public services to individuals with serious mental illnesses, serious emotional disturbances in children, and developmental disabilities, including cases with co-occurring substance use disorders.

Based in Sandusky, in Sanilac County, it participates in Region 10, a four-county regional network with Genesee, Lapeer, and St. Clair counties that is managed by the Region 10 Prepaid Inpatient Health Plan, which also serves as the regional Substance Abuse Services Coordinating Agency. A recent development is a planned partnership with McKenzie Health System to support the Healthy Living Together project, announced for mid-June 2026, in collaboration with the Sanilac County Health Department, MSU Extension, and the Great Start Collaborative Sanilac. Historically, the agency has launched community-facing initiatives such as the Casual for a Cause program and COVID-19 support lines.
