Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club, founded in 1911, is a polo-focused venue in Carpinteria, California, and stands as one of the oldest United States Polo Association clubs still active. The facility supports the polo ecosystem by hosting leagues and programs that promote participation, from intercollegiate polo to public lessons, while offering extensive equestrian facilities and recreational amenities. Its grounds include 141 condominium units, two pools with a Jacuzzi, eight tennis courts and a tennis clubhouse, a track for horses, an arena, stabling for up to 350 horses, and three turf polo fields. The club aims to attract new players across skill levels and combines polo with social activities, including year-round tennis, swimming, and fitness offerings. In May 2024 Henry Walker was named president of the Board of Directors.
