Since 1988, SBWCN has been a lifeline for injured, orphaned, and ill wildlife along California’s Central Coast. From hummingbirds to bobcats, we provide expert care to over 4,000 animals each year, with the goal of giving every wild life a second chance. Our work goes beyond the walls of our state-of-the-art wildlife hospital. We’re here to help people live more thoughtfully alongside wildlife—through education, outreach, and tools like our 24/7 Wildlife HelpBot. Our our work is featured on the big screen in Wild Rescue, an IMAX documentary showcasing wildlife heroes working at the intersection of wild ecosystems and human neighborhoods. SBWCN serves Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties, powered by a passionate team of wildlife professionals, veterinarians, volunteers, and community supporters. Whether you’re facing an emergency, curious about coexistence, or ready to get involved, we’re here to help. SBWCN is licensed by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service and California Department of Fish and Wildlife.
