Sargent’s Landscape Nursery, Inc. has been active in the nursery and landscape business in Rochester since 1971.  Sargent’s Nursery of Rochester is an outgrowth of a three generation family business in Red Wing, MN.  The Red Wing Nursery began operation in 1928.  The Rochester business began as part of Donaldson’s Garden Center and moved to its present location in 1976.  In 1985, Sargent’s opened its second retail store located in downtown Rochester on Second Street SW and, in 1992, Colours Flower Market was purchased and moved into the second street store.  In 2008, Colours Flower Market became Sargent’s Floral and Gift.
	The company is organized into divisions.  Major divisions include: the retail division (with two stores), the landscape design and installation division, and the production division which is subdivided into annual flowers, perennial flowers, woody plants and nursery.
By focusing on plant materials and related items, we have steadily grown to become the major supplier of green goods and services in the Rochester market area.
