Based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Saskatoon Public Library operates a citywide system that includes the Frances Morrison Central Library and eight branches, serving residents for more than a century. It provides access to a broad collection of materials and a range of programs in welcoming, community‑oriented spaces, supporting learning, literacy and civic engagement. The library conducts outreach, such as visits to crisis shelters, loans to correctional facilities, and home deliveries for those unable to visit, and, in September 2024, announced the appointment of Carol Shepstone as the new director of libraries and chief executive officer, effective November 4, 2024.
