The Saudi White Cement Company is a cement producer based in Ibn Ghannām, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, operating within the manufacturing sector. It traces its origins to 1997 when the Kingdom’s first white cement plant was established, with commercial production starting in 2001 at a clinker capacity of 230,000 tonnes per year and later rising to 320,000 tpy. The firm expanded its operations by adding a second line for black cement in 2005; the first black line began commercial production in 2007 at 1.7 million tonnes of black clinker annually, and a third line that started commercial output in 2010 maintained the same capacity, bringing the combined black clinker capacity to 3.4 million tpy. In 2019, to respond to growth in construction activity, one of the black cement lines was converted to a dual white/black line, increasing white cement production to 1 million tpy.
