Sav-A-Life Pregnancy Center was established in Decatur in 1987  to help young women experiencing a pregnancy crisis in their life.  We are a non-profit organization that offers free services and up to date information that can help women make informed decisions regarding unplanned pregnancies and provide local agencies information regarding medical care and available financial aid for those who qualify for such government programs.  We present adoption as an alternative to abortion for teens and "abstinence" until marriage to avoid unwanted pregnancy and contracting sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and infections (STIs).  All our clients privacy is protected under the Center's confidentiality ministry statement and all our services are providing by nurturing, loving and compassionate staff members.

For our 1st 21 years to the best calculations of yearly center activity, we have serviced approvimately 25,000 clients and their babies (15,000 pregnancy tests and 14,000 children help with clothing, formula, diapers, etc. from our center's baby clothes closet).  Our staff has invested in approximately 1,080 young women's spritiual growth and all of our staff works to help our clients find emotinal and physical help upon entering our center throughout their crisis situation.
