Save One Life is an international nonprofit based in Danvers, Massachusetts, that provides direct financial assistance to children affected by bleeding disorders and poverty. By partnering with bleeding disorder patient organizations in 15 developing countries, the organization supports more than 1,500 children and youth through its sponsorship program and funds opportunities in post-secondary education through a scholarship initiative. It also operates a micro-enterprise grant program to help families and adults with bleeding disorders improve their incomes, and provides funding for bleeding disorder camps. In 2019, the Project SHARE program, which distributes lifesaving blood-clotting medicine to patients in developing countries, was incorporated under Save One Life from LA Kelley Communications. The organization was founded in 2001 by Laureen A. Kelley, who has a personal connection to hemophilia through a son. Save One Life operates within the international affairs sector and serves its mission by enabling education, income opportunities, and access to essential medical supplies for individuals with bleeding disorders in the regions it serves.
