It collaborates with Tribal partners, local communities, scientists, and supporters to advance long-term restoration and protect wildlife habitat within redwood ecosystems. The league has 51-200 employees and maintains the website savetheredwoods.org. Recent activities include land acquisitions and donations to expand conservation areas, such as 200 acres in Sonoma County adjacent to the Harold Richardson Redwoods Reserve in 2026, 360 acres in Ridge, New York in 2024, and the Monte Rio Redwoods Expansion property acquired in 2025 and donated to the county's Regional Parks Department.
