In addition to working on projects for Netflix, Scanline continues to work with a variety of long-standing and new clients outside of Netflix. Established in 1989 in Munich, Scanline became well-known for our ability to create photorealistic natural phenomena such as fire, smoke and water, having developed our proprietary fluid simulation software, Flowline. Scanline was the sole developer of Flowline and in 2008, and was the recipient of a Scientific and Technical Achievement Academy Award® for the software.
