In 1979, brothers Mike, Jim, and Gary Scelzi began manufacturing their line of flatbeds out of their company’s 4,500 square foot facility in Fresno, California. More than 45 years later, Scelzi Enterprises has grown to be the largest manufacturer of work truck bodies in the Western USA. We employ a team of more than 450 professionals across 5 locations, and we keep growing. We focus on Premium Quality and our mission is to continue to be the Top-of-the-line for another 45 years. Scelzi Enterprises creates custom truck bodies for a wide range of customers, from single vehicles for individuals to entire fleets for some of California’s largest companies and utilities. The company’s success is attributed to a fanatical commitment to quality in every detail of production. To ensure this quality, every step of the manufacturing process happens under Scelzi’s roof - starting with raw sheet metal and ending with finished truck bodies fitted and color-matched perfectly to host cabs and chassis.
