The SCHOMBURG Group operates in the wholesale building materials sector, providing system solutions for construction challenges such as waterproofing, refurbishment, tiling and screed systems, and concrete technology. Instead of selling standalone products, it delivers integrated systems that are designed to work together and anticipate issues before they occur. Headquartered in Detmold, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, the company serves planners, contractors, and developers worldwide through a network spanning more than 50 countries.

The AQUAFIN line illustrates the focus on durable waterproofing under demanding conditions, reflecting the company’s commitment to knowledge, development, and quality. With a mid-sized workforce, SCHOMBURG combines system thinking with partnerships to create solutions intended to last, and in February 2021 it participated in a collaboration with the New York Public Library to host a talk.
