Schwartz Tilson Information, Inc. was founded in 2004 by John L. Schwartz and Whitney Tilson to foster the growth of a vibrant community of serious value investors. In this pursuit, they launched the Value Investing Congress, a bi-annual financial event, in 2005. At each Congress some of the world’s top money managers speak in depth about their investment philosophies, share some of their favorite stock picks and take questions from attendees. CNBC called it “The super bowl of value investing,” and Reuters described it as "The largest conference focused on the investment strategy next to Warren Buffett's annual meeting of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. in Omaha." Now it’s its fifth year, the event attracts hundreds of people worldwide and has grown to become the preeminent conference for value investors from across the globe.

Since the successful establishment of the Value Investing Congress, Schwartz Tilson Information Inc., has also launched Value Investing Letter, a monthly email newsletter focusing on value investing with a dynamic website that features the latest up-to-the-minute value investing news and videos.
