Science Communication Lab is a nonprofit based in San Francisco that uses film to explain science to students and general audiences. Its education program, previously known as iBiology, presents personal narratives from scientists, linking fieldwork and lab breakthroughs to the people behind them. The Wonder Collaborative, the organization’s public-engagement initiative, produces science films that celebrate the wonder and diversity of discovery and are intended to stimulate dialogue and community involvement. The organization serves students, educators, and the public by making science more accessible and showing how scientific work unfolds through real stories. In April 2026, Science Communication Lab announced partnerships with the New York Climate Exchange and with Stony Brook University to bring the OBSERVER film to the big screen.
