At Scientific Magnetics, we have been designing and manufacturing standard and tailor-made superconducting magnet and cryogenic solutions for academic and industrial-based applications, for almost 20 years. Working from your technical specification or performance requirements, we can develop a superconducting magnet system from the initial geometry of the coils, through design, to assembly, test and commissioning.  We manufacture superconducting magnets from both low-temperature and high-temperature superconductor, in circular and non-circular geometries.

We design and build cryostats operating at temperatures down to 0.3 K, including normal and superfluid helium systems, zero boil-off (recondensing) and cryogen-free superconducting magnet systems.  We also design and build cryogenic valve boxes and special cryostats for a wide variety of applications.

As of 2018 and in collaboration with MR Resources Inc. the Fitchburg, Massachusetts based company, we are able to undertake the following services for Academic, Pharmaceutical, Contract Research and Industrial users of NMR systems:

* Service contracts on all Varian, Agilent and Bruker NMR spectrometers.
* On demand service and spares for the above listed NMR systems.
* Quench Recovery and Helium refill service for superconducting magnets.
* Relocation of complete NMR systems.
* Sale of fully warrantied refurbished NMR systems.
