The natural heritage is one of Scotland’s biggest assets. The role of Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) is to look after our natural heritage, help people to enjoy and value it, and encourage people to use it sustainably. You can follow our work in several different ways. Website: Nature.scot www.nature.scot Blogs: Scottish Nature Blog https://scotlandsnature.blog/ | NNR Blog | Enews | Science Enews Facebook: www.facebook.com/ScottishNaturalHeritage/ Twitter: @nature_scot YouTube: www.youtube.com/user/ScotNaturalHeritage1 Instagram: www.instagram.com/scottishnaturalheritage/ Our website (nature.scot) is comprehensive and updated regularly, carrying all of our press releases as well as details of our research work, grants and guidance. Our monthly enewsletter is available. We have an active facebook page and a frequently updated twitter stream, both of which are accessible from the home page of our website. We also have a regular blog Scotland’s Nature which you can follow. Our priorities are set out in our corporate strategy. In working for people and the natural heritage, we provide grants, carry out research, provide advice and information, handle a wide range of casework, look after designated sites, produce publications, provide licences and support interpretation. SNH is a government body responsible to Scottish Government Ministers and through them to the Scottish Parliament. Much of our work is done in partnership with others – local authorities, government bodies, businesses, community groups, land managers, and a wide range of representative bodies.
