Scottsdale Behavioral Health is founded with the mission of providing comprehensive, compassionate and personal care to anyone suffering with psychiatric or addictive disorder who is seeking help. 

Scottsdale Behavioral Health also offers a unique outpatient facility setting that serves Scottsdale and neighboring areas to provide medical stabilization for acute withdrawal from alcohol, opiates, Benzodiazepines and various other substances of abuse as an outpatient basis. To address the behavioral and psychological aspects of addiction, a comprehensive intensive outpatient counseling follows medical stabilization. It is our goal to provide a complete path to recovery for people with addiction. 

Our IOP is a 16 weeks, 3 days/wk and 2-3 hours/session, program. The focus is to boost motivations to make and sustain a change in life. Strong family involvement is encouraged from the beginning. Our therapy style is to fully understand, accept, and support people with various addictions in a non-judgemental way. We understand that it is normal for a person to feel ambivalent or doutful about making a change in their life. We, therefore, utilize powerful tools to empower them in self elicited, collabrative and facilitative way.  

Psychiatric conditions like depression, anxiety, sleep disorders are also common in people with addiction disorders. These conditions are aggressively treated by our Board Certified Psychiatrist.
