Scout Film Festival is a United States–based nonprofit organization that organizes an annual international event to showcase short films created by filmmakers aged 24 and under. The festival aims to connect emerging creators with larger audiences and the professional film community by presenting a curated program over a three-day event, while also offering access to education, networking, and development opportunities through a career development program and grants such as The Emerging Filmmakers Grant. Positioned within the movies and sound recording industry, Scout serves as a global platform for young filmmakers to share work, gain visibility, and advance their careers, with a mission to foster equity, inclusion, and collaboration in the industry. Founded by Anna Colavito and Adriana Teresa Letorney, the organization is based in Stowe, Vermont, and operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, drawing participants from an international pool of applicants and collaborating with partner organizations to identify and support future industry leaders.
