Scouting America is a large national organization in the civic and social sector that develops youth through outdoor activities and structured educational programs. It serves millions of young people and relies on a substantial volunteer base, with more than 2.4 million youth participants and nearly one million adult volunteers. Founded in 1910 and based in Irving, Texas, the organization is part of the global Scout Movement.

It is a founding member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, a role it has held since 1922, and its programs follow the Scout Method across divisions from Cub Scouting to Scouts BSA and Venturing and Sea Scouting. In June 2026, Scouting America announced a collaboration with NASA to integrate NASA-themed content into its programs, including merit badge curricula and learning modules.
