Scratch Golf Clubs is a sporting goods manufacturer focused on highly customizable wedges for golfers. The company emphasizes a comprehensive fitting system that helps determine a golfer’s swing type based on angle of attack and divot tendencies, aiming to improve contact and spin through tailored sole grinds and face interaction. Its products are designed to be highly configurable, offering multiple head shapes, numerous sole grind options, finishes, loft ranges, and stamping choices to meet individual preferences.
Based in Berkley, Michigan, Scratch Golf Clubs traces its origins to a garage workshop in Oregon in 2003, evolving into a niche provider within the golf equipment industry. The business targets golfers seeking personalized equipment and professional retail partners, addressing concerns about fit, contact with the clubface, and customization. A recent development notes the company’s activity in assets acquisition for course development, reflecting expansion beyond wedge manufacturing into related ventures.
