SDCM Restaurant Group is a San Diego–based restaurant company led by Matthew Spencer, drawing on more than two decades in the hospitality industry. It started with the oceanfront FIREHOUSE American Eatery + Lounge in 2007 and expanded with venues such as Vin De Syrah and Analog Bar in Downtown San Diego. In 2014 it opened Kettner Exchange, which earned an Orchid Award for Architecture in 2015, and a year later introduced Devil’s Dozen, a chef-driven donut concept. Executive Chef Brian Redzikowski oversees menu development across SDCM’s concepts, supported by Bar Manager Steven Tuttle who leads the beverage program; both work with Spencer and partners Jillian Donovan and Kristine Duehren to guide the group’s culinary and hospitality direction. More recently the portfolio has grown to include The Grass Skirt, a tiki concept, Good Time Poke, and Camino Riviera, which launched in Little Italy in 2021. Based in San Diego, the group operates as a mid-sized operator focused on creating diverse and evolving dining and beverage experiences.
