Seafood Nutrition Partnership® is a nonprofit focused on the mission to inspire a healthier America through partnerships and outreach that raise awareness about the essential nutritional benefits of eating seafood. What we eat matters for our health and our planet’s health, and our future food security. In 2025, public health officials revised the USDA/HHS Dietary Guidelines for Americans, to eat 3+ servings a week as part of a healthy diet. Unfortunately, 80-90 percent of Americans are not following this recommendation. Seafood’s essential nutritional benefits are supported by rigorous scientific research and prominent health organizations recommend eating seafood for brain health, heart health, maternal and child health. Seafood Nutrition Partnership commits to building awareness of seafood’s essential health benefits in the prevention of heart disease, support brain health, and developing the tools and resources necessary to easily incorporate seafood into today’s American diet through education and awareness.
