Season of Mist is a French-founded record label focusing on metal, known for cultivating new artists and presenting established world-class acts. It maintains a diverse roster across the metal spectrum, while also sustaining an underground outlet through its sub-label Underground Activists. The company promotes its releases through reviews, interviews, samplers, giveaways, merchandise, and touring, and operates an online shop offering vinyl, band merchandise, and special box sets. Its distribution arm handles releases for numerous other labels, underscoring its role as one of the largest independent record companies in today's metal community.

Season of Mist has extended its reach beyond France through three official offices in Marseilles, France; Pennsylvania, United States; and Vaassen, Netherlands, aligning its activities with major metal markets in Europe and North America. In May 2026, the label announced a partnership with 20 Buck Spin to co-sign Hulder, a Pacific Northwest-based black metal project, signaling ongoing collaboration within the label community.
