Seattle Girls Choir is a Seattle-based organization that provides comprehensive choral education for girls ages 5 to 18, with a focus on vocal technique, musical literacy, and ensemble performance. The program blends music instruction with youth leadership opportunities, offering six progressive levels of instruction for school-age girls, along with an elementary training choir and a teen contemporary choir. In addition to regular school-year rehearsals, the choir runs summer day camps and supports a tradition of travel through workshops, festivals, conventions, competitions, and performance tours at domestic and international venues. The organization serves over 200 young participants and regularly collaborates with other Seattle-area arts groups, contributing to the broader performing arts community in the Pacific Northwest. It is led by Artistic Director Sarra S. Doyle and is based in Seattle, Washington, founded in 1982. Recent leadership updates include appointments of an Executive Director and an accounting & office coordinator, reflecting ongoing organizational development.
