Founded in 1914, the Sedro-Woolley Chamber of Commerce promoted social gatherings as well as a healthy business climate for its members. Today’s Chamber goals are much the same. The Sedro-Woolley Chamber of Commerce works hard to fulfill its Mission: “The mission of the Sedro-Woolley Chamber is to provide connections to resources that support sustainable growth and prosperity.” and our Vision: “The vision of the Sedro-Woolley Chamber is to support a thriving, inclusive, and interconnected community.” Membership includes retailers, wholesalers, service industries, manufacturers, industrial parks, banks, churches, nonprofit organizations, and individuals. Membership meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month and are generally held at the Sedro-Woolley Community Center from 11:30AM to 1:00PM. Any changes are announced in the monthly newsletter, “The Exchange.” The newsletter is the chamber’s source for current meetings, committee activities, upcoming events, and a watchful eye on current issues affecting our community and businesses. Membership includes this newsletter. If you would like to know more about the Chamber, please call the number above or attend a chamber meeting – visitors are always welcome. We have a rich history in Sedro-Woolley based on the can-do spirit brought by hard working men and women as they forged their way in the great forests of this valley called Skagit. This tradition of hard work and community was well documented by world-renowned photographer Darius Kinsey who based his photography studio right here in S-W in the early part of the 20th Century. Many of his works are on display throughout the town and also at the Sedro-Woolley Museum
