Our AI-enabled, handheld soil carbon sensor revolutionizes soil health analysis providing affordable and reliable data that helps small-scale farmers and anyone growing on small sites assess their site management strategies to grow more and remediate contamination.  

SEED believes soil is life.  As a living, complex ecosystem it has produced a tradition of cultural foodways and regenerative land management, which we've lost touch with — partly because of a reduction in small, minority-owned and Indigenous farm sites.  Healthy, carbon-rich soil increases food security and decreases environmental pollution.  We're working to ensure that these smallholders, especially Black, Brown, Indigenous and women farmers, will no longer be left behind because of cost and or access to innovation.
